About CREA Research

Built by a steward, for stewards.

My Story

I'm Lino Miranda, and I've been a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service for over 20 years. I've served as a shop steward at both the Little River and Flagler stations in Miami, which means I represent postal workers in disputes with management. It's work I take seriously.

For years, I watched stewards struggle with the same problem: hours of research. When a postal worker has a grievance—whether it's about discipline, route cuts, or scheduling—we need to build a case. That means searching through arbitration decisions, USPS manuals, contract language, and labor agreements. It's tedious, time-consuming work, and most stewards don't have the luxury of doing it well. They're already working a full route.

The veterans—the stewards with decades of experience—had an advantage. They could remember precedent cases, recall contract language, and pull from institutional knowledge. But newer stewards, or those covering for others, had to start from scratch every time. It wasn't fair, and it wasn't efficient.

Why I Built CREA

I started building CREA Research because I got tired of watching good stewards lose cases they could have won—not because the case was weak, but because they didn't have access to the research they needed. I wanted to level the playing field.

CREA Research is an AI-powered platform that gives every steward—experienced or new—access to the same knowledge base I've accumulated over two decades. You don't need to be a veteran to research like one.

What CREA Research Does

CREA is an AI-powered research tool. You describe your workplace situation — the grievance, the contract violation, the management action — and CREA analyzes it against:

  • Thousands of arbitration cases spanning 1970 to 2025, including NALC-designated key decisions
  • 73 USPS manuals covering everything from the Employee and Labor Relations Manual to the Postal Operations Manual
  • 1,700+ MRS documents (Step 4 settlements, MOUs, and policy letters) that define how the contract is interpreted

CREA finds the relevant contract articles, arbitration precedent, and handbook sections for your specific situation. Instead of spending four hours researching a scheduling grievance, you describe it once and get the analysis you need. Instead of hoping you remember the right case law, the AI surfaces the precedent that applies. Instead of guessing whether management followed procedure, you get the exact manual citation.

It's the difference between fighting with one hand tied behind your back and fighting fair.

The Vision

CREA Research isn't about replacing stewards. It's about empowering them. Every postal worker deserves representation that's backed by solid research. Every steward deserves the tools to do their job right. Every grievance should be fought on merit, not on who happens to be handling it.

I built this for the stewards working the night shift after a full day of delivering mail. For the brand new stewards learning on the job. For the union locals that don't have the resources of larger branches. For every postal worker who deserves someone in their corner with the facts.

That's what CREA Research is. A research tool built by someone who's been in the grievance room, who knows what it's like to be under the gun, and who believes that access to information is the difference between winning and losing.

If you're a steward, a union representative, or anyone fighting for postal workers' rights, CREA Research is built for you.

Documentaries

Along the way, I documented what I was seeing. I produced two independent documentaries examining systemic issues inside USPS, grounded in official records and Office of Inspector General reports.

1. "Fraud At Flagler USPS"

2. "Error and Abuse At USPS: The Angel Guerra Story"

If you're a steward, a carrier, or someone who deals with management issues daily, CREA was built with you in mind—by someone who's been in the same chair, on the same routes, having the same conversations.

This isn't corporate software. It's shop-floor technology.
