1. Service Description
CREA (Contract Research & Evidence Assistant) is an AI-powered research tool designed to help USPS letter carriers and union representatives find relevant contract articles, arbitration precedents, and handbook sections related to workplace situations. CREA searches a database of historical arbitration decisions, collective bargaining agreements, and postal service manuals to provide research assistance.
2. Not Legal Advice
CREA IS NOT A LAWYER AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. The information provided by CREA is for educational and research purposes only. Use of CREA does not create an attorney-client relationship, union representative relationship, or any professional advisory relationship.
CREA's analysis is generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. The citations, precedents, and suggestions provided should not be relied upon as definitive legal guidance.
Always consult with your union steward, union representative, or qualified labor attorney before taking any action regarding workplace grievances.
3. No Warranty / As-Is Disclaimer
CREA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

- The results obtained will be accurate, complete, or reliable
- Any information provided will be applicable to your specific situation
- The arbitration precedents cited remain valid or controlling
- The contract provisions referenced have not been modified or superseded
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREA, ITS DEVELOPERS, OPERATORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the service
- Any grievance outcomes, whether favorable or unfavorable
- Reliance on any information provided by CREA
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the content

- Any employment actions taken by your employer
You acknowledge that grievance outcomes depend on many factors beyond the information provided by CREA, including but not limited to: the specific facts of your case, the arbitrator assigned, local practices, and the quality of representation.
